My dear Reese...I am overwhelmed with Love for you my sweet girl. You are so fun and I love you so. Your my Favorite Reese in the whole world....I tell you to stop growing, but you just don't listen. HAPPY BIRTHDAY REESE!! Love Mom

Happy it was for sure. At the very last minute yesterday I got the idea to put on my wedding dress. Don't worry ladies...it doesn't fit! Look in the mirror ;) Anyway the kids thought it was the coolest thing. We had a little dance and Reese was the photographer. The fun part for me was that I always tease Collin about wearing my wedding dress again. If he wants to do something dangerous I respond with... "well at least I will get to wear my dress again" I have now found and even better reason....our anniversary! Oh and I have always thought it would be cool to make your dress into Lingerie. Sorry if that is too much information, but it really seems silly to me to spend so much money and never get to use it again! I think I am going to try. What do I have to lose?? The only thing I can think of is storage space. Maybe that should be my next business venture!

Just finished this up and would love your opinions. And not how large my bottom looks in Collins sweatpants ;) Do you like the fabric,what would you pay, etc? I am looking forward to my photography class because as you can see the pictures are not coming out the greatest.

Because my life isn't crazy enough I decided to turn my "other" blog into my projects blog. That way if anyone feels so inclinded to actually buy something I make then they can ;) So if you are ever in the mood make sure you check it every now an then.
So the Birthday party was great. Let myself indulge in TONS of calories....that is always a good time, but I am finding that I am not used to the grease and it gives me a horrible tummy ache. That 13 day diet has really worked for sure. I am happy with the results especially since I didn't even have to work out to lose the weight. I did start back on an exercise plan so that way I can let myself eat with out guilt. This week is like Christmas for us. My birthday, Anniversay in 2 days and they Reese's birthday on Friday. Collin and I are going on 8 years! I have to say that I am blessed with a guy that loves Jesus, me and our children so much!! He really goes out of his way for us. Love him!!

Farewell 28

You will be missed. We went through a lot together many ups and downs. I don't think I would be who I am with out you. So much growth, pain, and hardship. There were times I wanted to run and never come back....but You wouldn't let me. Goodbye 28 I am thankful you were there, but unfortunately, I will never see you again. This saddens me so but I look forward to my new friend which at least still has a two. I am hoping and praying that she treats me nice. May be she will have some adventures to bring with her? May be she will have a tan and carry me off to the sun? Or ride horses in the moonlight? Whatever she has to offer I am ready to meet her for I know we can do anything when He is also by our side!

Sew Happy

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I am really liking how my projects are turning out lately. There are a few things I would change of course, but happy all the same. I just finished up 8 aprons for Reese's party. I took a break for awhile to work on another project.

Easter Dresses I have always wanted the girls to have matching dresses, but it gets a little tough when you have a baby in the mix. Not to mention expensive! Sara was kind enough to pass this site on to me and the rest is History.... I have said this before, but sewing for me is great therapy. I seriously enjoy creating things. I have no idea what the Lord is going to have me do with this creative side of me. Maybe it will just turn into a lifetime hobby?? Spring is supposedly supposed to be here soon as well and i will have to be outside tending to my beast of a garden. Boy do I love the flowers, but the WEEDS...kill me now! I wish I had the means to hire a crew and then i could just keep it up.
Oh and you are probably wondering how this little peanut is doing......norah
Boy do i just LOVE LOVE LOVE her. This morning she woke up at 5am and I got to snuggle with her. I wish I could of said that it happened at 7, but hey....she is the last baby in this household. She is quite the chatter box and just this week she finally decided to crawl. I am guessing we have about 1 more week until I am going to have to make sure that there are no small objects around. She seems to be the happiest baby I know. Of course i am a little bias. Okay a lot ;)

Presently I am

I thought I would reveal my next project in the making. I am excited to see how these are turning out. For Reese's birthday we are going to have a pizza party. I thought it would be fun for party favors to give all the little kids aprons (they are making their own pizzas). So we picked out the fabric and wa'la! You are probably thinking that is going to cost a bundle, but it is cheaper than buying a bunch of crud at the store. I know that time cost money but I have been having fun and seeing Reese's face light up when each one is done is priceless. **I should add to that this is Reese's apron and all the guest are getting half aprons. That way I save time and money ;)

Ta'da

Hopefully this won't be the one and only time. I decided to start potty training because we are running low on diapers and she is almost three. We will see how it goes. So far she has no fear with sitting on it and Reese is having a lot of fun trying to get her to go. I told the kids that they all get to share in the treats when she goes. Reese is a sugar monster so she is determained to encourage her to go. So Proud!

Book of mention

Collin called this morning and said that they were reading this book on AM 820. Reese was really excited. it is a book about saving your Kiss for the man you marry. Reese is one of those little girls that can't wait until she is married. It is so simple and so sweet. I think that we going to start hunting for the best bargain. They also have one for the boys, The Squire and the Scroll. That will be read tomorrow at 7:30 on AM 820.

Flashback Friday?? Nope, Present Monday

I never thought it would snow enough in March to go sledding! It makes me want to throw my garbage outside an speed up the global warming process. Totally kidding!! Anyway we are counting down the days until Spring in our house hoping that the Sun will peaks it head out, and we can pull out the shorts and flip flops. A girl can always dream ; ) Speaking of dreams....we find out the winner of the Dream House Giveaway on Sunday. Will it be me??

I had a lot of fun making this one. I am tempted to keep it myself. But I won't. I really am starting to feel confident in my sewing skills and am able to get them done a lot faster. I am doing a BIG project for Reese's birthday, so I will let you know how it turns out.

Not an Everyday Monday

Mondays Collin has to leave the house early to go clean the office. With School starting at 8 it makes for a pretty CRAzY morning. This morning I decided to give Norah some play time when I got all the other kids fed and ready for the day. When I came back this is what I found......Pure sweetness.

She is just so cute and peaceful. The last few weeks she has really been having a hard time. Cold, pinkeye and just pure crankiness. For awhile I thought she might of swallowed some foreign object. Every time she tried to poop she would cry and you could tell she was just uncomfortable. With that came along NO naps. We yesterday she decided to take two and also fell asleep in her car seat (which she usually never does). And then today she just feel asleep in her bed. I think that she is catching up on her lost ZzZzZZZZZzzzzz.
