Ta'da!

Well it still needs some trimming, but my dear dad came to my rescue. Collin wanted to take the clippers to my beloved honeysuckle. Thanks Daddy! Doesn't it look nice with the arbor?

Happy Birthday Mom

She was a pretty lady for sure! Miss you mom and wish you were here so the kids could sing to you. Happy Birthday!

Update

I am realizing that this is sounding a lot more dramatic than it probably really is. I am just overwhelmed with life right now. Collin job requires him to work a lot which makes this really tough on the home front. It is a plus to have him here in the mornings, but I personally would like him here more at night. I think the kids would too because mommy doesn't have the fun routine that daddy does. The financial side of things isn't the greatest so I just think all these things added together just make me really tired. Sorry to sound like a whinner. Last night I didn't write anything for that very reason. Everytime I go to put my thoughts down on blog I am like "GIRL quite your whinning!" I have so much to be thankful for like Norah sleeping 10.5 hours! Please continue to pray for us.

Tired....

Sorry that I said I was going to write an update, but right now I am without words. All I can really say is I am tired for a lot of reasons. Thank you for your prayers I appreciate them more than you will ever know.

Freezer Meals

This last weekend it happened! Some of us from Grace have been talking about doing freezer meals for a long time and Rachel made it happen. Thank you Rachel!! I am excited about being able to pull something out of the freezer and be done! Also if you are in the market for a Turkey Burger Recipe here you are. This is the best one I have come across by far.

Tasty Turkey Burgers
1 pkg. Ground Turkey
1/2 cup chopped spinach
1/2 crumbled feta
1/2 red onion chopped
2 tsp garlic minced
2 Tblspn. steak seasoning (Montreal is my fav)
Combine together and make patties. I suggest you freeze them before hand (at least 20 min) so that they do not fall apart on the BBQ.
If you want a spice burger you can mix 1 cup of majo with 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper and 1 tsp cumin. Add some diced veggies to it as well. Tomato, red or green pepper, onion or avocado.
Bon Appetite!

Busy Busy Bee

So it seems that we have been quite busy in the Bustanoby house hold. Blogging has been on my mind, but getting the time to do it has been the hard part. I mentioned to some of my friends that I would be quite the gal if I had a personal assistant. I am feeling as though I have so much going on that I can't get anything done. Argh! But we have been able to have some fun in all the chaos as well.
Here are a few picture from our day trip to Whidbey Island. The kids got to ride a horse and a donkey ;) Reese was a little timid at first, but warmed up quickly. Dallas was a natural cowboy!

Okay Dallas when you hit the ball you need to run to 1st base, 2nd base, and then home.....no mom! I don't want to go home!Reese was outside singing today while she was on the swing. And she says to me. "Mom, the sun is coming out because I am singing....I am wakin it up!" Keep singing girl, keep singing!Dallas: Look mom his doesn't have twin wheels! (translation:training wheels)Dallas: When I am a daddy....I want one of those baby Norahs. So sweet!Reese: Mom I like these things...What things? Reese: These Rat-tat-too-ies Do you mean Tattoos?Reese: Yah! TattoosDallas was holding Norah and this is what he said....Norah pooped. She pooped 3 times....Oooo....she pooped 10 times mom!!Reese was going to the bathroom and when she was done she looked (as all kids do) and said "oooo, look mom. I ate carrots!"Reese has been wanting her ears pierced. She spent that night at Ambers house and asked her if she could do it. Amber told her that it would hurt and after she did one ear she would have to do the second ear. She said "how bout you do the second ear first"We been telling the kids that Norah can't have anything to eat because she is to little. Dallas walks in the hospital and get up to look at Norah and says: "I want to see if she has a mouth"In the morning when the kids wake up they come and crawl in bed with us. I was laying on my side talking with Reese. She looked at me and said "Mom...your boobs are hugging" I just laughed. She then said "they love each other" The thoughts of a 5 ....and just in case you were wondering. I was wearing a tank top ;)Mom....when I am a mom I will have two kids and then we will have lots of kids at our house!!(And what do we have now...I am thinking)Dallas looked at my blog and the picture of the "barefoot and pregnant""mommy that's you!"Boy do I love that kid ;)My room is usually a mess. Of course I have all the "good" excuses as to why :) Well my surprise when I got home from work was a nice clean room with a made bed. When Reese came and got me this morning she said "Mom your room is Amazing!"

the things they say...

Reese: Hey mom look! She walks just fine and doesn't even need a cane! (we were at costco and she said this about an elderly lady...nice!)
