I subscribe to the Family Fun Magazine and love to read the articles and see all the ideas that they have. Ava has been entering a new phase of having me hold her all the time. As lovely as that sounds, it is just not possible. So today I decided to give "the kitchen sandbox" a try. Although it was a lot messier than the picture, it was well worth it. Ava played in it for about 2 hours and Dallas & Reese played for about an hour. Another positive is the mess was in one spot. Usually I have a kid in each room making 3 separate messes. And it only got better. I was able to make phone calls without saying "can you hold on please, don't do that, I will just have to let you go". As well as do my laundry without Ava throwing everything I have folded the minute I turn my back.
So my Family Fun Review is: $3.59 + 30 minutes of cleanup= 3 hours of sanity! Thank you Family Fun!

Snow Day!
This would not be possible without the canon!
Sledding is way more fun then sitting in the snow!
Sledding is way more fun then sitting in the snow!
Do you know why pictures are so great?? Because you never really take them when your kids are whinning. So years down the road you will forget about it. I think that is why I have so many little critters! I have decided that I am not only going to take pictures of them smiling, but also take the whinny ones.....Below is how most of the morning went. Would I do it all over again....of course! I just love them to death!

Do blondes have more fun??
For awhile now I have been wanting a style change. I thought I would go brown, but I am thinking that the blonde thing could be kind've fun. I like my natural color and I know there are people out there that would love to have it, but frankly I have had it my whole life and just want something different. So I wanted to know what you think.......Yah or nah? I don't think that i will cut my hair, so I am just wondering about the color. So good or bad let me know. Thanks!
flash backs
You know in movies when people are about to die and they have a flash backs of people or events that happened in their life? I am sure that I am not the only person out there that thinks of stuff like this, but there are moments in life that are so good you know that when that happens to you (if it actually does happen) that moment that you are experiencing will flash back to you.
We had just woken up about 9 am. When I say we I am talking about Collin and I. The kids usually get up at 7:30 or so and play. We used to have a rule that they weren't able to get out of bed until we got them, but now that they are a little older they will play quietly in there room and let us sleep a little bit longer.....good kids :) Anyway Reese comes in and asks if she can get cozy next to mommy and daddy. We say of course you can!!! So she lays next to us and I just am taken away at how beautiful she is becoming. We started talking about the baby that is coming and she has the yeah I know attitude. She sees that my belly is growing and that I am tired all the time, but I don't think that she fully understands that the baby is actually inside of me. Hopefully you understand what I mean. Well the baby was starting to kick me like crazy and I told Reese to put her hand on my stomach. She did and boom....the baby kicked her. The look on her face of amazement and wonder was what the MasterCard commercials would call priceless. Words couldn't even begin to express how I felt. Anyway....this will be one of those moments that one day will flash before my eyes again and give me joy.

Plump
Sometimes I just don't understand why people say the things they do. I can't say with honesty that I haven't said things I regret, but I usually tell them right away and let it be known that I shouldn't of said that. So I am not talking about the mistakes we make when we say things. I am talking about when people say things and think that it is perfectly okay to say it. For example: "You don't even look pregnant, you just look plump." I mean seriously....what is that. Does that sound like something you should even say to someone? So I googled pictures of plump and I guess this is what I look like. No one ever taught them the golden rule....."if you don't have something nice to say, don't say it at all!"

Why a mop?
I decided to start a blog and thought the blank page looked boring. The first thing that came to my mind was a mop. I hardly ever use one, so I don't know why I would pick that. Maybe I want millions of people to think that I am a clean freak or something. Am I? Hardly. I would like my house to be a whole lot cleaner than it is, but that means I have to be the one to do it and I am just to tired for that. They say you need to pick your battles when it comes to your kids. I think the same thing applies to your home. One day I will overcome the dirty house blues and have a home that is clean when an unexpected guest drops by. It is good to have goals right? Funny how they change when you are a stay at home mom.....Mazal!

Amber told her that it would hurt and after she did one ear she would have to do the second ear. She said "how bout you do the second ear first"We been telling the kids that Norah can't have anything to eat because she is to little. Dallas walks in the hospital and get up to look at Norah and says: "I want to see if she has a mouth"In the morning when the kids wake up they come and crawl in bed with us.
